At the heart of The Jackal is a 135 mm (5.3″) blade forged from 80CRV2 high carbon steel, a steel highly regarded by serious outdoorsmen and bladesmiths alike. Known for its exceptional toughness, excellent shock resistance, and outstanding edge retention, 80CRV2 excels in demanding environments. It sharpens easily in the field and holds a keen, razor-like edge even after extended hard use—making it ideal for both precision tasks and heavy-duty work. The full-tang construction runs the entire length of the knife, providing maximum strength and long-term durability you can trust when conditions turn unforgiving.
Measuring 265 mm (10.43″) overall, The Jackal offers a perfectly balanced feel in hand—substantial enough to inspire confidence, yet agile enough for controlled, detailed work. The handle scales are crafted from Stabilised Karelian Birch, a dense and highly stable wood prized for its natural beauty and resilience. Its rich grain and warm tones are matched by excellent water resistance, paired with Black G10 Liners ensuring the handle remains comfortable and secure in wet or cold conditions. The scales are solidly fixed with three German silver Corby Bolts and a Black G10 Lanyard tube, adding both structural integrity and a refined visual finish.
Completing the package is a handcrafted full-grain leather sheath, built for versatility and field readiness. Designed for hip carry and can easily be adapted for scout carry. A secure retainer strap keeps the knife safely in place while on the move, whether you’re hiking, stalking, or working around camp.
