WASTELAND
WASTELAND Bushcraft/Utility Knife – Hand-Forged Performance and Rugged Style
Introducing the Wasteland Bushcraft/Utility Knife, expertly crafted for adventurers, survivalists, and bushcraft enthusiasts who demand top-tier performance. Hand-forged from premium 52100 High Carbon Steel and heat-treated to an impressive 60 HRC, this knife offers exceptional edge retention and lasting sharpness — a level of durability rarely found in store-bought knives.
The Wasteland features a 170 mm (6.7 inch) blade, measured from tip to guard. With a 4.5 mm (3/16 inch) thickness at the ricasso, the blade achieves a perfect balance between strength and lightweight handling. A wide bevel and a long swedge along the spine enhance its slicing and piercing capabilities, while a gun-blued finish reduces glare for stealth and style. The knife’s balance point sits precisely where the blade meets the handle, ensuring superior control during use.
The handle is built for resilience and comfort, made from Stabilised Spalted Maple on Black G10 liners this handle has amazing figure. This stabilising of the wood involves submersing the wood in a vacuum and then pressurising in resin expelling the trapped air and replacing it with curable resin. This process makes the wood resistant to water damage, and able to withstand heavier wear. The handle is secured with G-Flex epoxy, one black G10 pin and 8 German Silver pins.
Every Wasteland knife comes with a premium full-grain 8 oz leather sheath, enhanced with an imitation crocodile skin overlay. The Deep chocolate brown croc skin matches perfectly with Rich Spanish brown leather accents and fittings. Designed for standard belt carry or scout carry via the buckle strap, the sheath offers easy removal via 3 snaps on the belt loop or simply undoing the buckle.
Each Wasteland knife carries a slightly weathered, timeworn look that grows more beautiful with use — becoming a true relic of your adventures. Please note that future versions may vary slightly in steel, handle material, or leather due to supply. We proudly forge with 80CRV2, 52100, or 1084 steels (excluding stainless options).
