Hand-forged from premium 80CRV2 high carbon steel and professionally heat treated to a remarkable 60 HRC, the Wasteland is engineered for extreme durability, outstanding edge retention, and dependable field performance. Unlike mass-produced factory knives, this blade is designed to withstand years of real-world use while maintaining the toughness and cutting power serious outdoorsmen demand.

The 170 mm (6.7 inch) blade strikes an ideal balance between versatility and control. At 4.5 mm (3/16 inch) thick at the ricasso, it offers substantial strength without feeling bulky or cumbersome in hand. A wide primary bevel gives the knife exceptional slicing performance for bushcraft tasks, game preparation, and camp work, while the aggressive long swedge improves penetration and enhances the blade’s striking profile. The stonewashed finish not only gives the Wasteland its signature weathered appearance, but also reduces glare and helps conceal wear from hard use in the field.

Careful attention has been paid to balance and handling. The knife balances precisely where the blade meets the handle, creating a responsive feel that inspires confidence whether carving, chopping, feathering timber, or performing fine detail work around camp.

The handle construction reflects the same uncompromising philosophy. Though it carries the sleek appearance of a hidden tang design, the Wasteland features a full tang completely enclosed within stunning stabilised Karellian Birch and rich African Blackwood. A blackened German Silver guard provides protection while adding a rugged, timeless aesthetic, complemented by a striking German Silver spacer positioned at the centre of the handle. Secured with industrial-strength G-Flex epoxy and six German Silver pins passing directly through the tang, the construction is exceptionally solid and built for decades of dependable service.

Every Wasteland knife comes paired with a premium handcrafted sheath made from full-grain 8 oz leather. Finished with a deep Black imitation crocodile skin overlay and accented with rich Yellow stitching, the sheath perfectly complements the knife’s rugged elegance. Designed for both standard belt carry and cross-draw configuration, it offers secure retention and quick accessibility, with dual snaps on the belt loop for easy removal without undoing your belt.

Each Wasteland carries a naturally weathered, timeworn character that only improves with age and use. No two are exactly alike. Over time, the blade, leather, and handle materials develop their own story — becoming a personal relic shaped by every adventure, campfire, and trail travelled.

Due to the handcrafted nature of these knives, future versions may vary slightly in handle materials, leather finishes, or steel selection depending on availability.
