Every line of the Vagabond tells a story rooted in tradition yet shaped for the present. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Bowie, it captures the spirit of that iconic blade while refining its silhouette into something leaner, more agile, and unmistakably modern. Its design is stripped of excess, leaving only what serves strength, balance, and cutting performance.

At the heart of the blade is a San Mai high carbon steel construction, featuring a tough 80CRV2 core flanked by resilient 15N20 outer layers. This combination offers exceptional durability, edge stability, and a striking visual contrast along the steel’s surface. With a thickness just over 7mm (around 9/32″), the Vagabond stands firmly between power and finesse—strong enough for hard tasks, yet responsive enough for controlled, precise work.

A long, tapered clip point flows into a finely bevelled swedge, giving the knife impressive piercing capability while maintaining slicing efficiency. A deep, dual-sided fuller lightens the blade, increases rigidity, and enhances its lively feel in hand. The result is a blade that moves with certainty and strikes with purpose.

The handle is a sculptural tribute to natural materials and skilled craftsmanship. Layers of stabilized, dyed Maple burl, a roped Black Micarta spacer, and a solid piece of genuine Antler come together to create a grip that is both visually stunning and functionally dependable. Built on a robust hidden tang, the knife’s internal structure is anything but fragile: a 15mm-wide tang at the ricasso that tapers only slightly—by 2mm—before reaching the threaded end. Nearly 8mm (5/16″) in thickness, it ensures rock-solid integrity, locked into place via an inset nut.

A handcrafted 8 oz full-grain leather sheath, hand-tooled for distinction, protects the blade and completes the package—rugged, traditional, and built to last a lifetime.
